Proposal

February 17, 2017 - Love Forum @ Royal Ascot (near Fahidi Metro station)

I didn't know that this ordinary day will become an extraordinary day and a special memory for us to remember. I was all dress up which was new to me since I always prefer t-shirt, jeans and converse shoes. Well I obediently followed the dress code for the event haha! I even arrived early than expected. All things were normal but behind my back, was a surprise soon to be revealed. Well my man did try his best to fulfill my dreams, indeed I am loved dearly.

We had a worship, some games I think then there was a talk afterwards. I was surprised when his name was called to share at front which was a first for me to actually witness it. Then they started playing love songs since it was post Valentines too! Then the guys even gave the ladies a flower. How sweet! Love is indeed everywhere and here :)

Before his proposal, my household was telling me to go to the toilet but I refused. That time I had no clue on the surprise that they prepared for me. I just felt strange but still I went on with the flow.

After going to the toilet. The music min was playing love songs. All of a sudden the video of us played and then George was playing guitar and even singing our fave song - Nothing's gonna stop us now. Some people were already getting a glimpse of what's going to happen next but still I'm a little clueless. Yeah it took me a while to finally realize that he is proposing now. OMG! This is it!

I stood up and walked to the center. He was shaking and trying to do things at once. That time I also felt nervous! He proposed past midnight like 12:06 AM, February 18, 2017.

George: Sarah Lauren Lim, will you marry me?

It's a BIG YES! Well it took few seconds before I said it.
I was thinking if this was really the right time and thank God it was the perfect time.

The newly engaged with my 2 siblings and adopted brother :)

The ring and the pretty flowers! Woah!!!

Did not know that being proposed to could get me this high! It was difficult to sleep that night and I feel like everything just sink in a little later. Such a wonderful feeling to cherish!
